Rui Kisugi (来生 泪 Kisugi Rui) is one of the main protagonists of the Cat's Eye series. She is the elegant and fashionable eldest sister of the Kisugi Trio who is the leader/brain of the "Cat's Eye" group and the one that usually outlines strategies and plans the heists.
Etymology
- The name Rui means "tears, weep, cry" (泪).
- Rui's surname Kisugi means "coming" (来) (kisu) and "life, living" (生) (ki/gi).
Trivia
- With model good looks, worldly sophistication and a razor-sharp intelligence, Rui is able to handle almost any situation.
- Rui is extremely athletic and proficient in a great number of activities and skills including car racing, hang gliding, parachuting, helicopter piloting, motorcycle riding, roller skating, skateboarding, martial arts, electronics, handguns, scuba diving and she is a skilled actress who is able to disguise her appearance effortlessly.
